Wild Blueberry Smoothie

I love wild blueberries because they mostly grow in Souther Canada (yaaay to all my Canadian peeps)!

Some of their health benefits:

  • High in antioxidants

  • Boost brain health

  • Fight inflammation

  • Aid in digestion (close to 4g of fibre per cup)

  • Promote heart health

Another interesting ingredient in this smoothie is cauliflower! Don’t worry, you can’t taste it.

I like to cut up a head of cauliflower, lightly steam it and then freeze to add to my smoothies.

Cauliflower is a part of the cruciferous vegetable family and is packed with antioxidants and tons of vitamins and minerals.

  • 1 cup wild blueberries

  • 1 cup frozen (steamed first or buy from the frozen aisle in grocery store) cauliflower

  • 1 cup oat milk (you can use any non-dairy milk)

  • 1 scoop collagen (optional and can omit if vegan)

  • 1 scoop protein powder

  • 1 tbsp. coconut butter

Blend baby blend!
