Wild Blueberry Smoothie
I love wild blueberries because they mostly grow in Souther Canada (yaaay to all my Canadian peeps)!
Some of their health benefits:
High in antioxidants
Boost brain health
Aid in digestion (close to 4g of fibre per cup)
Promote heart health
Another interesting ingredient in this smoothie is cauliflower! Don’t worry, you can’t taste it.
I like to cut up a head of cauliflower, lightly steam it and then freeze to add to my smoothies.
Cauliflower is a part of the cruciferous vegetable family and is packed with antioxidants and tons of vitamins and minerals.
1 cup wild blueberries
1 cup frozen (steamed first or buy from the frozen aisle in grocery store) cauliflower
1 cup oat milk (you can use any non-dairy milk)
1 scoop collagen (optional and can omit if vegan)
1 scoop protein powder
1 tbsp. coconut butter
Blend baby blend!
